I see from the latest (June 28) issue of the Press, along with a lengthy string of messages on NextDoor Harvard, that the raging debate over access to the scrap metal area at the Transfer Station has, if anything, intensified (I wish more people were equally concerned about non-discriminatory access to ballot boxes… but I digress). The way things are going, I can imagine a headline in the next edition of the Press that reads, “Peeved Pickers Picket Planners, Protesting Prejudicial Proclamation Prohibiting Pile Perusal!”
Or something like that. And, just BTW, I thought Billy Salter’s letter (“Let metal pickers pick”) was spot on.
