On Saturday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Bare Hill Pond Watershed Management Committee will sponsor a guided tour of Bare Hill Pond by wetlands biology consultant Wendy Gendron. Gendron will discuss aquatic plant management techniques, the annual monitoring of Bare Hill Pond, and the best practice for shoreline use and protection. She will bring her pontoon boat which seats 11 people. Contact Brian McClain to reserve a seat. You are also welcome to accompany in your own kayak or canoe. Rain date is July 27.
