At a luncheon to honor COA volunteers, Council on Aging Director Debbie Thompson and COA board Co-Chair Beth Williams presented Select Board member Kara Minar with a check representing the amount of money the town saved this year through the use of volunteer labor for the COA. Thompson said 57 volunteers contributed 3,275.5 hours this year, saving the town $49,132.50.
