George E. Lenertz, 84, of Harvard, died Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at The Commons in Lincoln.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Mary B. (Silva) Lenertz; his sister, Elizabeth Rausch of New Ulm, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.
George Lenertz was born in St. Peter, Minnesota, March 28, 1935, a son of George E. and Dora (Staebel) Lenertz. He lived in Harvard for 51 years.
During the early 1960s George served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and for over 50 years worked as an aeronautical engineer at ITEK Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and finally L3, all in Lexington.
He enjoyed spending time with his dogs.
Services will be held privately.
