The Select Board spent little time Tuesday night working its way through the 2019 Annual Town Meeting warrant. No vote was taken, but Chair Lucy Wallace declared the board was recommending all 37 articles, with the exception of Article 32, a citizen petition, which proponents say they will either withdraw or move to pass over the measure. Included in the board’s blanket recommendation are Article 30, which amends the town’s groundwater bylaw, and Article 31, a new erosion control bylaw.
Wallace noted the call by the Press last week for a state of the town report from the Select Board, but she said that information could be found in this year’s town report, which will be distributed at Town Meeting. She said that when Town Meeting votes Article 1, Town Reports, she will stand and refer attendees to the Select Board’s pages in that document.
