On Saturday, April 20, at 1 p.m., the Fort Devens Museum will present the documentary film “Yanks Fight the Kaiser,” about the famed 26th Yankee Division’s part in the Great War. Showing this film this year highlights the fact that 2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the Yankee Division’s return to America after World War I and settling into Camp Devens. Accompanying the film will be a short review of the 26th’s activities during and after its return home. The Fort Devens Museum is located on the third floor at 94 Jackson Road in Devens and is wheelchair accessible. Regular hours are Tuesdays, Fridays, and the third Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This program is free and open to the public. Come also for conversation with others interested in military and local history. Light refreshments will be served.
