Mother and grandmother of residents, talented gardener

Nancy A. (Haley) Quinn, of Harvard and formerly of Pembroke and Winchester, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Sunday morning, March 17, 2019. She was 75.

Nancy was born in Winchester on February 14, 1944, a daughter to the late Robert and Mary (Dwyer) Haley. She attended local schools and earned her Bachelor of Science in education from Boston State College. Nancy moved to Pembroke and there raised her family. While Nancy is well known for her amazing gardening capabilities, family was always paramount in her life. Being a mother and nana was her proudest achievement.

Nancy is lovingly survived by her children: Kelly Quinn and her husband Dwayne Muise of Easton; Patrick Quinn of Arlington; and Moira Quinn and her husband Jason Ward of Harvard; her grandchildren Colin Muise, Brian Quinn, Ewan and Nolan Ward; and her sisters Susan Geary of Marshfield and Sally Scott of Winchester. Nancy is sadly predeceased by her sister, Marylou Erickson.

Her funeral mass was celebrated at St. Theresa’s Church in Harvard, March 20, 2019. Private interment followed at Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
