Girl Scouts from Harvard met March 17 at Camp Green Eyrie on Still River Road to work on a merit badge called “Art in the Outdoors.” The event included girls from kindergarten through grade 12. The girls did fireside cooking as well as indoor crafts. One of the crafts involved a loom built by Girl Scout leader Alison Thornton. The girls gathered materials outside—from pine sprigs to dried hydrangeas—and incorporated them into a weaving.
