The Harvard Firefighters Association in partnership with the Minuteman Road Club will hold the tenth annual Ken Harrod Memorial Bike Race Saturday, May 18, starting at 8 a.m. Riders will participate in six USA Cycling-sanctioned races on a ten-mile course through Harvard’s eastern roads and hills. Volunteers wearing bright orange vests will be stationed throughout the course in radio contact with police and fire officials. The affected roads will be marked with signs to warn drivers of a race in progress. Residents are invited to cheer on the athletes.
