HES 5th-graders have come up with the idea of scheduled walk-or-bike-to-school days. For students who live too far away, there is the option of meeting on the Common between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. to walk to school with HES staff and other students. The following days have been chosen: Monday, Feb. 4 (walk only, due to possible snow/ice), Tuesday, March 5; Wednesday, April 3; Thursday, May 9; and Friday, June 7.
