I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Noyan Kinayman over many hours for approximately two years as a member of the Broadband Committee. During our long meetings, Noyan impressed me with his ability to effectively lead a group, ensuring that everyone’s voice was equally heard and respected. I found Noyan to be open, transparent, polite, and intensely interested in learning and exploring all options, to earnestly serve his community.
With that in mind, I’m delighted to endorse Noyan Kinayman for the Select Board. I believe that Noyan will take up his new responsibilities in the same manner in which he chaired the Broadband Committee, as an accessible, transparent, and open advocate for our town and the issues that concern us as a community, and that he will act on what he believes to be right and fair, based on unbiased due diligence. I think that Noyan is keenly interested in and capable of working across the board, town committees, and in other forums to help Harvard move forward in a way that honors the traditions and diversity of our community.
