The Harvard Conservation Trust and Sudbury Valley Trustees invite the public to the official opening of Horse Meadows Knoll, Harvard’s newest conservation area, at 45 Sherry Road, Saturday, Sept. 29, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Take a guided 1-mile loop walk to the top of the drumlin-shaped knoll, through hardwood and hemlock forest, with rocky outcroppings and steep slopes that overlook the reservoir where green herons and beaver are active. Take the opportunity to meet with the groups who helped protect this extraordinary property.
