Summer porch supper
Join the COA for a light supper on the Hildreth House front porch Wednesday, Aug. 29, 4 to 5 p.m. The menu will include hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cold drinks, and dessert. Signup is required by Aug. 22.
For mind, body, and soul
Call the COA to learn more or to join any of these classes:
- Weight strengthening and aerobics, Monday and Wednesday, 9 to 10 a.m., Congregational Church
- Line dancing, Monday, 10:15 to 11:15 a.m., Congregational Church
- Tai chi, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 to 10 a.m., Fellowship Building
- Yoga, Tuesday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Friday, 9 to 10 a.m., Congregational Church
- Cardio Blast, Friday, 9 to 9:45 a.m., Fellowship Building
Computer support
Each Tuesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., computer volunteers are at Hildreth House to help with any technical issues. To minimize wait time, call to schedule an appointment. Ham & bean supper
For the COA’s final outdoor event of the summer, the Knights of Columbus will host a ham and bean supper at Hildreth House at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12. Please sign up by Sept. 5.
Van transportation guidelines
The COA van is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. for rides to medical and other appointment and local shopping.
- Call 978-456-4120 to schedule the van, giving at least 48 hours notice.
- Do not use the van without a scheduled ride.
- Riders must have an update File of Life with them.
- If a walker, wheelchair, or extra help is needed, someone must accompany you.
- Unscheduled stops are not allowed.
- Do not use coins to pay for rides; only bills are accepted.
- If a medical procedure requires someone to drive you home or stay with you, make sure someone accompanies you.
