Harvard Girl Scout Troop 30892 spent four days in California this summer. They visited Muir Woods National Monument, a forest of old-growth redwoods found north of San Francisco. They stayed at the San Marin Headlands Youth Hostel and hiked and explored, with guided studies by Outdoor Hostel Adventures. They also did a service project with the National Parks Service: re-establishing native plant species in the area. The troop wishes to thank everyone who supported the troop’s fundraising efforts to make this trip possible.
