2018 Transfer Station permits available
Transfer Station stickers can be purchased at Town Hall during normal business hours, by mail, or online.
Fees are:
- Purchased prior to July 1, 2018: $250
- Purchased July 1-31, 2018: $275
- Purchased Aug. 1, 2018, through June 30, 2019: $305
- Seniors (age 65 or older): $35
Stickers must be affixed inside the lower left corner of the vehicle windshield. Vehicles entering the Transfer Station without a valid sticker will be subject to fines.

Arbor Day Foundation offers tree identification book
The Arbor Day Foundation’s book “What Tree Is That?” is available for a $5 donation to the nonprofit tree-planting organization. It’s a user-friendly, easy-to-use tree identification guide that features hand-drawn, color illustrations showing the distinctive characteristics of many trees in eastern and central regions of the United States. An online interactive version is available at arborday.org.

Volunteers with construction background needed
If you work in the construction field and would like to help ensure that the new elementary school is built to last more than 50 years, please consider volunteering to help the Hildreth Elementary School Building Committee. The commitment would require collaboration at meetings every other week over the next three years. If interested, email Dr. Linda Dwight, Superintendent of Schools, at ldwight@psharvard.org.

The 4th of July Committee needs volunteers for the parade and field events scheduled for Wednesday, July 4. There are many opportunities available to help throughout the day to bring smiles to kids’ faces and meet and greet neighbors. Summer soccer camps at Charlie Waite Field
The Harvard Soccer Club has announced dates for its summer camps:
- TetraBrazil Camp, July 9-13
- British Soccer Camp, July 23-27
- Advanced Training Camp, Aug 13-16

Girl Power Camp! for 4th-6th graders
The Harvard Cultural Collaborative (HCC) will host a five-day camp, July 9 through 13, for girls going into grades 4 through 6. Sign up for a full day or choose just morning or afternoon. The morning session will offer yoga, interactive games, relaxed crafts, creative writing, and sharing circles. The afternoon session will focus on art techniques including sculpting with clay, painting, gluing, and needle felting. All materials are provided.
- Morning session, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.; $140.
- Afternoon session, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.; $160.
- Full day; 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. $275
