March 30, the day of the Great Food Walk and the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish’s Procession of the Cross, was blustery, and rain threatened throughout the day. Despite the dark day, the spirits were bright for our Procession. More than 75 parishioners carried a simple wooden cross for 5 miles to celebrate the Christian tradition of Good Friday. The route goes from St. Theresa’s Church on Still River Road to Mass. Ave., Bolton Road, and on to Route 117 in Bolton. It is a busy route, but with the safety provided by the Bolton Police Department it was a safe and successful event again. For the past 12 years, the Bolton police have accompanied us along the route. We would like to thank Chief Nelson and his department for their support. I am sure that many Harvard and Bolton citizens saw us on our journey, and we appreciated your courtesy.
