Town Election 2018: Who’s running and who’s not

With Town Caucus scheduled to convene in two weeks, Press reporters asked board members whose seats expire this spring whether they intend to run for re-election. Here’s what they found:

  • Moderator (one seat, one year)
    Bob Eubank will not run again.
  • Board of Selectmen (one seat, three years)
    Lucy Wallace will run again.
  • Cemetery Commission (one seat, three years)
    Ted Maxant will run again.
  • Community Preservation Committee (one seat, three years)
    John Mark Walker will run again.
  • Board of Health (one seat, three years)
    Sharon McCarthy will run again.
  • Library Trustees (two seats, three years)
    Davida Bagatelle and Chris Candon will run again.
  • Parks and Recreation Commission (two seats, three years)
    Doug Thornton and Joseph Reynolds will run again.
  • Planning Board (two seats, three years)
    Fran Nickerson will run again; Michelle Catalina will not.
  • Planning Board (one seat, one year)
    Stacia Donahue will run again.
  • School Committee (two seats, three years)
    Chairwoman Mary Traphagen will run again; Nancy Lancellotti will not.
  • Tree Warden (one seat, one year)
    JC Ferguson will run again.
  • Warner Free Lecture Trustees (two seats, three years)
    Tom Aciukewicz and Tim Clark will not run again.
     

Town Clerk Marlene Kenney reminds voters that Town Caucus will begin two hours earlier than usual this year. She will call the meeting to order promptly at 5 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room Saturday, March 24.
