Season of darkness, season of light

December 21, 2017

These last days of our astronomical year are the darkest, so we fill them with light and song, candles and carols, family gatherings, and religious ceremonies. It’s a time for celebration and reflection, and, for the fortunate, time off from work.

We’ll be taking a short break of our own at the Press. This is our last issue of 2017. We’ll return to our office Jan. 8, 2018, to prepare our first issue of the new year, filled with news of the town and its engaged residents. We’ll be watching, however, for events of significance that can’t wait and will do our best to report them online at harvardpress.com. To stay informed, be sure to follow us on Facebook or on Twitter (@harvardpress).

In the meantime we wish our readers Happy Holidays and a Joyous New Year. Your support and feedback are what keeps us going. Thank you. See you in 2018
