tax aid fund
Harvard’s Elderly and Disabled Tax Aid fund assists elderly and disabled residents defray the costs of their property taxes. The funds consist totally of private donations. They are distributed in accordance with established guidelines and are designed to support those who are unable to pay their taxes without hardships. The funds are disbursed based on need and vary from year to year.
Letters to Santa
The Harvard Post Office has announced that there is a special mailbox for letters to Santa Claus. Letters brought to the post office on Ayer Road and dropped in the special mailbox will be sent straight to Santa at the North Pole in time for his elves to work their magic.
Well-adult clinic
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Harvard Board of Health announces that a well-adult clinic will be held Tuesday, Jan. 16, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hildreth House. Meet with the nurse for a wellness check including blood pressure/pulse monitoring, blood sugar screening, general health counselling, and further assessments with referrals as needed. No appointment is necessary.

Registration available now for dog licenses
Registration for 2018 dog licenses is available at the town clerk’s office now through March 31, 2018. While out doing holiday errands, stop by Town Hall and pick up Rover’s new tag! More information at www.harvard.ma.us/home/news/dog-licenses.
