John “Jack” Guswa, LSP, JG Environmental, of Old Meadow Lane received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Licensed Site Professionals Association. This award is presented to an individual in recognition of distinguished and continued contributions over 25 years or more to the advancement of science, standards, or professionalism in the field of site assessment and remediation under MGL c. 21E.
The LSPA is the 825-member nonprofit professional association of licensed site professionals and other environmental professionals (scientists, attorneys, laboratory personnel, etc.) in Massachusetts. Their members, according to the association’s website, work with their institutional, nonprofit, government, and private clients to remediate contaminated sites, often in economically distressed areas, so these properties can be returned to active and productive residential, commercial, and recreational use.
