BA-B rowers donate to local charities

November 30, 2017

More than 105 Bromfield Acton-Boxborough rowing team athletes ended the season by celebrating their accomplishments at their fall celebration and giving upward of 260 pounds of food and household items to the Community Harvest Program of Harvard and Loaves & Fishes of Devens.

A varsity girls team captain, Valentine Bulpin, said, “We got the word out to all the rowers to bring bags of groceries or household items to our fall celebration at the Acton-Boxborough High School. It was fun to see all the donations. We filled three large cars with the donations!”
