The Bromfield Trojans girls soccer team trounced Parker Charter 6–1 on Friday, Sept. 29, and moved on to crush Lunenburg on Monday, Oct. 2, 6–0. After the games, the team’s overall record stood at 9–1, and it was first in its league division at 5–0.

In Friday’s home game, freshman Olivia Kehoe and senior Sarah Moore each scored two goals against the Parker Charter Panthers and shared the title of top scorer.
On Monday, the Trojans faced the visiting Lunenburg Blue Knights. Freshman Bella Kehoe and junior Courtney Route each scored a goal in the first 20 minutes of the game to bring the score to 2–0 for Bromfield. Bella Kehoe followed up again later in the half, scoring the third point for the Trojans, while sophomore Olivia Noyes finished the half with the fourth.
“We passed really well … at the end of the half,” Bella Kehoe later reported. The team was “moving the ball really well,” she said.
Bella Kehoe recorded the fifth goal in the second half, and sophomore Elena Franklin ended the scoring with Bromfield’s sixth goal. The Trojans took many shots on the net. In numerous plays, the Kehoe sisters dribbled the ball up the sides of the field and then passed to open teammates in the middle.

“Defense is strong right now, so we had a shutout again … proud of that,” senior Ashtyn Chipman, co-captain of the team, said. “It seems like we’re on a roll,” she added. “I’m loving the team.”
Bromfield’s next game was scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 4, away at Tahanto.
