Rollstone Bank & Trust (RBT) recently donated $5,000 to the New Players Theatre Guild (NPTG). The funds will be used towards a new heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system in its building on Rollstone Street in Fitchburg.
“Arts and culture are important to the well-being of any city, and the NPTG is an important part of that in Fitchburg,” said Martin F. Connors, Jr., President & CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “Giving back to the community is a priority for us at RBT. We donate to a variety of worthy causes in our area, and are happy to help the NPTG improve its facility.”
Nancy King, President of NPTG, said, “I have been heartened by the various levels of support that New Players Theatre Guild has received from community businesses in Fitchburg, Leominster, and Ashby, but I am especially grateful for this generous donation from the Rollstone Foundation which, when combined with our own hard-earned funds, will bring heat and air conditioning to our much-loved theater.”
