Youth track clinic
Harvard Parks and Recreation Commission is sponsoring a track clinic for children in grades 2 through 8. The clinic will offer an introduction to track and field events, running different distances, relays, jumping, and throwing.
- Wednesday, June 7, 4 to 6 p.m., scrimmage at Acton-Boxborough High School
- Wednesday, June 14, 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 18, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 21, 5:30 to 8 p.m., local meet in Concord

Harvard Ambulance Service offers EMT and ambulance driver training classes
The Harvard Ambulance Service (HAS) invites adults to an information session Wednesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at the Harvard Public Safety Building, 40 Ayer Road, to learn about becoming an EMT or an ambulance driver.
Each fall, HAS offers qualified adult residents EMT training to become a member of the service. Since 1972, HAS has provided skilled emergency care and hospital transport to any Harvard resident who becomes injured or suddenly ill. HAS responds 24 hours a day, every day, to all situations. The squad is composed entirely of volunteer EMTs and ambulance drivers. It is a big and rewarding commitment!
Habitat for Humanity golf outing
Golfers are encouraged to participate in the Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts fourth annual golf tournament Tuesday, Sept. 19. The event will be held at Shaker Hills Country Club. All proceeds from the event will benefit Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachustts, bringing affordable housing to those in need throughout 25 towns in the region.
Interested golfers can sign up for foursomes at www.ncmhabitat.org/events/. The registration fee includes greens fee and cart, golf shirt, morning refreshments, lunch, and a swag bag of golf accessories and snacks. The shotgun start is at 9 a.m.; registration opens at 7:30 a.m.

Voter registration for Special Town Meeting
The last day to register and be able to vote at the June 13 Special Town Meeting will be Friday, June 2. The Town Clerk’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day. You may also register online at www.sec.state.ma.us.
