The day before the girls track team won its third consectutive district championship, Bromfield track athletes surprised coach Dave Boisvert and hosted a reunion to thank him for his 13 years of coaching. A dozen former runners joined the current team to express their appreciation of Boisvert’s dedication to both indoor and outdoor track. Boisvert will hang up his coaching whistle and become Bromfield’s athletic director in the fall. “Mr. B has been such an integral part of the Bromfield track program that we couldn’t let him retire without a huge thank you!” said an appreciative athlete, speaking for the group.
