On Sunday, June 25, the Harvard Lions Club will host the annual Bare Hill Triathlon. The event, sanctioned by the USA Triathlon organization, consists of a half-mile swim in Bare Hill Pond followed by a 10.5-mile bike ride, then a 5K run to the finish line. Along with individual athletes, teams may enter with each member completing one leg of the race. Register online at www.firm-racing.com or on the day of the event. The cost is $75 per person plus the USAT fee of $15. Team registration costs $90 plus the USAT fee of $15 per athlete. The registration area and finish lines will be on the grounds of the Harvard Public Library. Each participant will receive a Bare Hill Triathlon T-shirt.
