We would like to thank the volunteer firefighters from Harvard and surrounding towns who saved our house April 22 from an attic fire and took measures to protect our furniture and possessions from consequent water damage.
As a news article in the Harvard Press noted, there was mutual support from Ayer, Bolton, and Lancaster fire personnel. One firefighter even helped us look for our cat, who was located unharmed in the basement.
It’s great to see how well protected every family in town is from potentially devastating fires by this group of dedicated and experienced volunteers.
