Cell Phones For Soldiers collection
Always On Call Health Services®, Inc., is collecting gently used cell phones and donating them to Cell Phones For Soldiers for recycling. Phones from all service providers are accepted. They may be dropped off at Always On Call Health Services, 285 Central Street, Suite 214, Leominster, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Youth track clinic
Harvard Parks and Recreation Commission is sponsoring a track clinic for children in grades 2 through 8. The clinic will offer an introduction to track and field events, running different distances, relays, jumping, and throwing. The first session is Wednesday, May 24, 4 to 5:45 p.m. at McCurdy Track. Other dates:
- Wednesday, May 31, 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 7, 4 to 6 p.m., scrimmage at Acton-Boxborugh High School
- Wednesday, June 14, 4 to 5:30 p.m.
- Sunday, June 18, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 21, 5:30 to 8 p.m., local meet in Concord

Train travel to the Cape
The CapeFlyer is a weekend passenger train that runs Memorial Day to Labor Day from Boston’s South Station to Hyannis, with stops in Braintree, Brockton, Middleborough/Lakeville, Wareham Village, and Buzzards Bay. Charter Commission outreach
Members of Harvard’s Charter Commission will be on the Common Saturday, May 20, from 9 a.m. to noon to answer questions, explain where they are in the Charter writing process, and listen to suggestions. A copy of the draft charter can be found at http://bit.ly/2qEuSYO.
Teen suicide prevention
To proactively address the issue of teen suicide, the Bromfield School is offering screening and prevention training as part of the Sign of Suicide® Prevention program, which has been used by thousands of schools over the past nine years. The program has proven successful in targeting students concerned about themselves or a friend.
The school’s goal is that all 9th- and 10th-grade students will have participated in this program or a similar suicide education program by the end of this school year. Teachers and staff have also participated in training to be aware of signs of depression and suicidal thoughts and how to respond to students who may approach them for help.
