Bromfield junior Will Hopper was awarded third runner-up in the 2017 Congressional Art Competition for the Third Congressional District of Massachusetts. He was presented the award by U.S. Rep. Niki Tsongas at her Lowell office May 9. Hopper’s winning artwork was a digital graphic design piece created in Adobe Illustrator. Each spring the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Hopper’s artwork is part of the Student Art Exhibit currently on display at the Bromfield School.
