As its first order of business since Town Election, the School Committee elected new officers Monday night. Mary Traphagen succeeded SusanMary Redinger as chairwoman, with Nancy Lancellotti as vice chairwoman. Newly elected member John Ruark became secretary. The longer-serving committee members jokingly reassured him that the job wasn’t complicated, because he would have to take the minutes only if Mary Zadroga, administrative assistant to the superintendent, was absent. The votes for all positions were unanimous.
