On behalf of the HPL trustees, I want to thank the staff of the Harvard Public Library for the outstanding contribution they make to this town. From identifying and finding resources to decoding the mysteries of modern technology, the library staff continues with creativity and grace to make the library experience rewarding for us all. Their work includes the things you see: evolving programs, a robust website, story hours, book groups for every age, films for families and seniors, maker days, and a safe space for kids after school. It also includes the huge effort behind the scenes that you don’t see, which makes it all possible. The list goes on and on. Please join me in offering your thanks the next time you visit.
