Having been a resident for nearly 40 years, I have had the pleasure of knowing many of the people who have served on the Board of Selectmen. Again, we have a very special opportunity to elect an individual who is thoughtful, intelligent, committed, respectful, and a seasoned veteran of service to the town.
As I have now served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for at least 15 years (time passes!), I have had the great pleasure of working with Kara as a member of the Planning Board on land-use matters over the years. From specific discussions of bylaw changes to master plans, as well as “land-use boards” meetings to keep each other updated, Kara has always had a wonderful way of engaging on the subject with one goal in mind: Get the facts and make the best decision. We need that focus on the Board of Selectmen. And we all owe each and every person who serves on that board a tremendous amount of gratitude. It is a huge time commitment that carries the highest level of responsibility in the town of Harvard. Kara Minar unequivocally has my vote for Board of Selectmen, and I trust that you will also join me.
