Edward Geezil

Former resident, traveler,
founder of candy company

Edward Geezil was born Dec. 14, 1942, to Andrew Geezil and Leticia La Monte. He spent his childhood in Chelsea. He married in 1968 and moved to Randolph. In the 1970s, Ed founded the Royal Candy Company and hustled fudge and chocolate lollipops all over southeastern New England.

In 1980 Ed moved his family to Harvard. He retired in 2001 to tour Europe, where he passed away in the resort town of Espinho, Portugal, on Feb. 17, 2017. He leaves four children: Edward Jr., James, Pamela, and Michael. Services are to be announced.
