As we approach the election for Board of Selectman, I would like to tell you about candidate Edward Moussouris. Ed and I coached basketball for kindergarten and first-graders this past season. He has a positive attitude and enthusiasm that was great with the kids and kept me going too! It takes a lot of patience to work with young kids on basketball fundamentals. Patience, enthusiasm, and positivity are great attributes for a selectman. Additionally, Ed is a paramedic. That should give you a sense of his dedication. (For those that don’t know, it takes seemingly countless hours of training to be certified, and it is an extremely physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding job.) It is safe to say that Ed can be counted on to keep cool in tough situations and deliver on anything he commits to.
