I am writing to endorse Kara Minar as a candidate for the Board of Selectmen. Kara is a smart, knowledgeable woman with a proven track record in Harvard. She has been involved with town committees in Harvard for the past 10 years. The institutional knowledge she brings to the table is irreplaceable. When I most recently interacted with Kara, while she was chairwoman of the Planning Board, she communicated with neighbors of the Poor Farm property to inform us about Chapter 40B and to work through possible options. I have found Kara to be able to calmly listen to all sides of a situation and to skillfully assist the various parties in being open to options.
