Basic life support/CPR course offered
Always On Call Health Services®, Inc. will offer the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support for the Health Care Provider CPR course Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 285 Central Street in Leominster. The course is geared for people who work in the health-care field, day care providers, and nursing school students. Registration is required in advance at 978-537-9900 ext. 114.
It’s Girl Scout cookie time!
Harvard Girl Scouts will be selling cookies from now through March 5. Cookie sales allow Scouts to raise funds for their troop activities as well as learn valuable skills. Eight varieties of cookies are available, including the new “S’More,” which commemorates 100 years of Girl Scout cookie sales; the gluten-free “Toffee Tastic;” and all the old favorites. Contact your local Girl Scout, Brownie, or Daisy Scout to order, or visit a booth sale. Sales will be held Saturdays, Jan. 14 and Jan. 28, at the Transfer Station, and Sunday, Jan. 15, 9 to 11 a.m. at Dunkin’ Donuts. Well-adult clinic
Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Harvard Board of Health, announces that a well-adult clinic will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at St. Theresa’s Church. Drop in for a one-on-one consultation with a nurse and for blood pressure screening. No appointment is necessary. Bromfield Help Line
The Bromfield Help Line is a way for students, parents, and community members to access help via a written form. The Help Line may also be used to alert the school that someone is in need of assistance or to report incidences of bullying. Access the Bromfield Help Line at the school website, http://bromfield.psharvard.org. The Help Line is one of the options under the “For Parents” and “For Students” menus.
