Harvard police reported this week that fingerprints have been recovered from spray-paint cans that were found in late November near the defaced Bromfield rock. Harvard Detective Daniele Fortunato said several prints had been recovered and sent to the Massachusetts State Police crime lab for further analysis.
A photo of the four cans accompanies this article. Fortunato noted that the gray can on the far right side of the photo has a label made of paper and reads “Design Master Super Silver 732.”
”Perhaps someone may be able to identify it,” she wrote in an email to the Press. The fingerprints will remain on file with the state police indefinitely, she added.
So far the police have no suspects and have filed no charges. In their Dec. 20 meeting the selectmen urged the police to continue the investigation and find the individuals responsible.
