The Fresh Air Fund, a New York City nonprofit that connects children from low-income families with summer experiences in communities throughout the eastern U.S. and southern Canada, is seeking volunteer host families. All kinds of families may volunteer—two parent, one parent, grandparent, or families without children.
To learn more about The Fresh Air Fund, join Harvard organizers Sunday afternoon, Jan. 8, at 4 p.m. at the General Store. Guest speaker Jon Thomas will describe his own experience as a Fresh Air child, and local host families will be on hand to answer questions.
