David King was elected president of the board of directors for the Fort Devens Museum June 18. King served in the U.S. Army for 21 years, capping his career with a stint at Fort Devens from 1981 to 1986, when he served as deputy director of personnel and community activities and then became adjutant of the Intelligence School Brigade.
The Fort Devens Museum is a civilian-operated nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving the history of the men and women who served at Camp Devens, Fort Devens, and the current Military Training Center at Devens. The museum is funded by membership and donations.
