In a Sept. 11 ceremony, Peter Donaldson of Boy Scout Troop 1 Harvard was awarded the honor of Eagle Scout, the highest rank that the Boy Scouts offers. For his Eagle project, Peter built an accessible boardwalk at the town beach, providing access to the beach for disabled visitors. Peter, a 2015 Bromfield graduate currently attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is the son of Bob Donaldson and Carrie Fraser of Willow Road. Only 3 to 4 percent of Boy Scouts attain this prestigious honor.
