At their Sept. 6, the selectmen approved the following appointments, filling two vacancies on town boards and one on a regional board.

Daria Swanton of Fairbank Street, will serve a two-year term on the Harvard Historical Commission. She was nominated for that seat by the Planning Board, though she is not a member of that board.The town’s bylaw allots the board the right to nominate one citizen to the commission.

Cindy Russo of Oak Hill Road, a sewer commissioner, will join the Board of Assessors.
- Town Administrator Tim Bragan will represent the town on the Montachusett Area Regional Transit Authority’s Advisory Board.
