I read the news today that the Bromfield School parking lot will have four streetlights installed in the coming weeks. I sincerely hope that these will be full cutoff lights, the kind that focus the lighting to minimize light pollution. Our world already suffers from serious light pollution. It’s not just that the night sky visibility is diminished. Plants and animals are also affected by stray lighting. So are we humans.
