Carlson Orchards, 115 Oak Hill Road

Pick-your-own apples will start Saturday, Sept. 10. Pick-your-own raspberries for another week or two. Ginger Gold, Paula Red, and early McIntosh apples, southern peaches, and nectarines in the store. Corn, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, zucchini, summer squash, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, green peppers, green and wax beans, acorn and butternut squash, cantaloupes, and red watermelons from Brookdale Fruit Farm in Hollis, New Hampshire.


Doe Orchards, 327 Ayer Road

Pick-your-own apples. Honeycrisp, Ruby Mac, Gala, and Ginger Gold apples at the stand, their own spring and summer honey, and sunflowers most days.


Harvard General Store, 1 Still River Road

A variety of produce from Applefield Farm in Stow and Crooked Row Fields in Concord.


Old Frog Pond Farm, 38 Eldridge Road

Pick-your-own organic raspberries; raspberry jam at the stand by the house. No pick-your-own apples this year.


Westward Orchards, 178 Massachusetts Avenue

Pick-your-own apples. Gala, Ginger Gold, Cortland, and McIntosh apples in the store. Also their own lettuce, melons (honeydew, cantaloupe, and watermelon), celery, cucumbers, beans, broccoli, carrots, summer squash, zucchini, Swiss chard, kale, peppers, leeks, onions, eggplant, beets, cabbage, tomatoes (including heirloom and cherry), potatoes, and mixed herbs. Southern peaches and market plums and nectarines.


Willard Farm, 218 Still River Road

Corn every day until the end of the season. Tomatoes, including Big Beef, Brandywine, Pink Lady (low acid), Chef’s Choice, Roma, Carolina Gold, Green Zebra, “almost uglies,” and “miscellaneous weird tomatoes.” Peppers, hot peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, and Red Norland, Green Mountain, and Yukon Gold potatoes. A few hot pepper plants in pots, already producing peppers.


 
All produce listed is Harvard-grown unless otherwise noted. “Southern” peaches come from Pennsylvania and points south.
