Former nurse, folk art collector, accomplished skier

Priscilla Lorraine Morrow of Lancaster County Road, Harvard, passed away Aug. 15, 2016.
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Dec. 17, 1941, to Louis and Leftery Peters, Priscilla graduated from West High School before attending University of New Hampshire. She graduated from Newton-Wellesley Nursing School and then worked as a private surgical nurse in Boston.
In 1976, Priscilla moved to Harvard where she raised her children, cultivated a community of friends, hosted many a delicious meal, and, more recently, spoiled her grandchildren. Her love of beads, folk art, and antiques and her creativity as a jewelry designer were complemented by her impeccable eye for design. She was an accomplished knitter and gardener and an avid skier of Stowe and the slopes of Colorado.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Irv Morrow, of Harvard; two daughters, Jennifer Morrow Slavin, of Harvard, and Samantha Gooch Morrow, of Carlsbad, California; and her sister, Sheila McCleery, of Winchester. She cherished her grandchildren, Imogen, Audrey, and Callan Slavin, and was a beloved aunt of Heather Joyner and Peter McCleery and their children.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, Aug. 26, at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Harvard at 1:30 p.m.
