Rollstone Bank & Trust (RBT) recently gave $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster (BGCFL) for its summer programs. The funds will be matched by an anonymous donor, who is matching up to $50,000 in donations.
Donata Martin, BGCFL Executive Director, said, “We appreciate the continued support of Rollstone Bank for our after school and summer programs. The willingness to help us meet our $50,000 Challenge by giving an additional gift is more than admirable and demonstrates Rollstone’s support of our mission: ‘To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive and caring citizens.’”
“The additional funds will help the Club provide financial assistance and scholarships to allow many more children the benefits of attending a safe and academically enriching environment,” Martin continued.
“RBT prides itself on helping the community, and the Boys and Girls Club is such a wonderful organization,” said Linda Racine, Executive Vice President of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “Our donation will go a long way in providing the kids at the club with a fun, safe summer.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Fitchburg and Leominster provides services to over 1000 area kids. The programs include science, math, and reading to help them keep their skills sharp during the summer months.
