COA now at old library
Until renovations at Hildreth House are complete, Harvard’s Council on Aging will be housed at the old library. Unless otherwise specified, all COA programs, meals, and events will take place at the temporary location.
2016 Transfer Station Fees Due
As of July 1, vehicles entering the Transfer Station must display a 2016 sticker affixed to the lower left corner of the windshield. Vehicles without a properly displayed sticker will be fined. Stickers may be purchased at Town Hall, online at http://bit.ly/1PYGhhj, or by mail to 13 Ayer Road, Harvard, MA 01451. A copy of a valid vehicle registration must be provided.
Residential household fees:
- $250 if purchased prior to July 1, 2016
- $275 if purchased July 1 through July 31, 2016
- $305 if purchased Aug. 1, 2016, through June 30, 2017
- $35 for residents 65 years old prior to July 1, 2016
Two stickers are allowed per household at the prices listed. A third sticker costs $25 (three stickers max per household). New residents may pay a pro-rated amount with proof of recent residency.
CPC accepting applications
The Community Preservation Committee is now accepting funding applications for fiscal 2018. Community preservation funds allow the Harvard community to invest in projects to protect open space, develop recreational facilities, fund historic preservation projects, and create affordable housing.
