Carol Panek-Clark of Old Littleton Road will be the featured artist for the month of June at the Parish Center for the Arts, 10 Lincoln St. in Westford. An opening reception will be held June 5 from noon to 3 p.m. Other gallery hours will be June 12 and 19 from noon to 2 p.m.
With pastels, the artist endeavors to share moments of fleeting beauty or uniqueness and scenes that capture her imagination and interest—”Small Celebrations” of life and glimpses of the natural world. In addition to pastels, she has been a longtime photographer. Both media will be exhibited. Panek-Clark’s work has been widely exhibited since 2007 and can currently be seen at Facet’s in Groton, the concierge area of the CIC at MIT, Cambridge, the General Store in Harvard, the Pastel Society of New Hampshire Member’s Show at the Sunapee Landing Company, and the New Hampshire Art Association, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, in a “Cross Border” show of pastel art from New Hampshire and Maine.
