Thanking Town Hall

April 7, 2016

Reporting and producing our Annual Town Meeting and Town Election editions at the Press is never easy, and because our readers rely on them, their accuracy, thoroughness, and fairness are paramount. Harvard’s professionals in Town Hall have had their hands full getting ready for Town Meeting and the election. They’ve also had to deal with a steady stream of emails, phone calls, and in-person visits from Press writers in search of details on town finance, bylaws, warrant articles, and ballot questions. Rather than brushing us off, they patiently answered our questions and steered us to the data we needed to do our work.

So here’s a shoutout to Town Administrator Tim Bragan, Executive Assistant Julie Doucet, Finance Director Lorraine Leonard, Town Clerk Janet Vellante, Conservation Agent Liz Allard, planner Bill Scanlan, and DPW Director Rich Nota. If our stories were on the mark, much of the credit goes to them. Thank you all.
