Together with their daughters, Apple Blossom Service Unit (Harvard-Bolton) Girl Scout leaders were honored April 10 as Volunteers of Excellence by Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts Council at the Sturbridge Host Hotel. Harvard leaders Alison Thornton, Rachel Schmoyer, and Grace Miller received Volunteers of Excellence Awards, as well as Bolton leader Sarah Mortimer, who was also honored with the distinguished Volunteer Appreciation pin. Jessica Beauchemin received a Rookie of the Year leadership award.
