With gusting wind and temperatures hovering around 40 degrees, the Bromfield Trojans boys outdoor track and field team lost to the Littleton Tigers on Friday, April 8. The final score was 43–105.
The Trojans collected a myriad of second- and third-place finishes against the Tigers, and they placed first in four events. Junior Jamie Barrett took first in the 400-meter hurdles, senior Nick Steele won the 1-mile, senior Beck Peterson won the discus, and the relay team consisting of Steele and juniors Tristan Cronin, Will Day, and Paul Chapman took first in the 4×400-meter relay.
Bromfield’s next meet will take place Wednesday, April 13, at Narragansett Regional High School.
